The Fine Print, Minus the Fine Print
Privacy Policy
What I collect, why, and what happens to it. In plain English, because that's the whole point of this business.
The short version
I collect only what I need to help you: your name, how to reach you, and what you asked. I don't sell it, I don't rent it, and I don't share it with advertisers. Ever.
When you email or use the contact form
Your name, phone number, email address, and message come to me so I can answer you. Email sent to help@mygeekmac.com is answered by my AI desk, which is clearly signed as AI in every reply. Those conversations are stored so I can review the AI's work, and they are automatically deleted after 90 days. Anything involving money, scheduling, or a sensitive situation gets handled by me personally, not the AI.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to show me which pages actually help people, and only if you click "Fine by me" on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookie is set and the site works exactly the same. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking here either way.
When we work together
Client work sometimes means I see your files, accounts, or devices. What I see stays between us. Client case documents never go into cloud AI tools. That's a hard rule in my shop.
Your choices
Ask me what I have about you and I'll tell you. Ask me to delete it and I will, unless the law says I have to keep it (like invoices). Email help@mygeekmac.com or call (951) 468-5674.
